Recipe steps

Prepare the fruit

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Peel the kiwis and cut them into thick slices or wedges. Arrange them in a baking dish. Add a little sugar, a squeeze of lemon, or a pinch of ginger

Make the crumble topping

In a bowl, mix the oat flakes, almond flour, sugar, salt, and butter with your fingertips until you get a crumbly texture.

Assemble and bake

Spread the crumble over the kiwis. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the top is nicely golden and the kiwis are gently bubbling.

Tips and variations

  • For an extra indulgent version, add chocolate chips. And for a bolder flavor, try adding vanilla, ground ginger, or lime zest.
  • For a vegan version, swap the butter for margarine or coconut oil

Anti-waste tips

Organic kiwi peels can be used to infuse water—perfect for serving alongside this dessert.
