Recipe steps

Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).

Prepare the apples

Peel the Gala and Granny Smith apples, then cut them into thin wedges. In a mixing bowl, combine the apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, white sugar, and salt. Let rest for a few minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Prepare the streusel

In another bowl, mix the flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and roughly chopped peanut butter-jam mixture until you get a crumbly texture.

Assemble and bake
