Not always! We prioritize imperfect produce for our baskets, but when there aren’t enough quantities, we top up with “regular” fruits and vegetables. Just like the producers, we depend on what nature decides to grow — and that’s a good thing ;-)

Uglyfruits producers are located in one of the best organic farming regions: the Seeland in Switzerland!

To vary our basket composition, we also offer imported products (never more than 20% per basket) sourced directly by our Swiss producers to guarantee full traceability and equivalent quality.

Our preparation facility is nearby in Cressier, making it easy to do daily rounds to collect fruits and vegetables for the day’s baskets. Freshness guaranteed!

Meet an “ugly” local farmer

Absolutely, 100%! Uglyfruits only offers fruits and vegetables from organic farming. For both local and imported products, everything in our baskets is edible — nothing goes to waste!

Yes, all fruits and vegetables in Uglyfruits baskets are seasonal. This includes imported products, chosen to add variety to recipes and flavors!

Not at the moment, but we’re preparing something along those lines that will be announced soon. However, you can pause anytime, up to 48 hours before delivery, or change your basket size if your fridge is running out of space.

Absolutely! Pausing your subscription couldn’t be easier — just go to My Account > Subscription and indicate your desired break period.

Yes, our subscriptions have no minimum period or hidden conditions.

From your account, you can easily cancel your subscription up to ~48 hours before your next basket delivery.

Currently we accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards and TWINT payment.

Your credit card is charged about 48 hours before you receive your basket. If you’re subscribed to the Tuesday basket for example, your card will be charged Sunday morning.

If there’s a problem with your payment method, we notify you immediately and you have a few hours to add a valid payment method from My Account > Billing.

If by the end of the same day (when we confirm orders with our producers) payment still hasn’t gone through, we unfortunately have to cancel your delivery and you’ll have until the next delivery to fix your payment method.

Because everyone has the right to enjoy good organic products, our baskets are delivered by Swiss Post so we can provide reliable service while covering all of Switzerland, including the most remote areas. Mail carriers also often have access to leave baskets sheltered from the weather when possible.

And for our Neuchâtel customers, baskets can be hand-delivered by Nicolas, our imperfect fruits and vegetables logistics specialist!

Our baskets are delivered by Swiss Post on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

For baskets delivered in Neuchâtel, it’s possible to receive your basket as early as Monday afternoon

Absolutely! You can do it yourself from your account by clicking “modify subscription” on your current subscription.

If despite all our care during packing a product arrives damaged, please send us a photo at [email protected]. We’ll record your feedback and depending on the situation, a compensation basket will be included with your next delivery.

Delivery is free for all orders — no minimum amount and no nasty surprises when you complete your order.
