When breakfast turns into an edible rainbow! This fresh fruit and yogurt parfait proves you can make something beautiful with simple ingredients. Three fruits, some yogurt, and voilà—your morning starts with a smile.

Ingredients

servings
  • yogurt
    plain
  • orange juice
  • kiwis portugal
    chopped
  • mango
    chopped
  • strawberries
    chopped

Recipe steps

Prepare the fruits

Peel and cut the kiwi into small, regular cubes. Do the same with the mango and strawberries. Keep each fruit in a separate bowl to make assembly easier.

Flavor the yogurt

In a bowl, mix the plain yogurt with the lemon or orange juice. This little touch of acidity will awaken all the flavors!

Assemble the parfaits

In pretty transparent glasses, alternate the layers: a spoonful of flavored yogurt, then cubes of mixed fruits. Repeat until your glasses are full.

Finish and serve

Finish with a final layer of mixed fruits on top for visual effect. Serve immediately or keep chilled until ready to enjoy.

Tips and variations

  • Mix things up according to the season: peaches and apricots in summer, apples and pears in fall, or even frozen berries in winter.
  • For a more indulgent version, add a pinch of homemade granola or some almond flakes between the layers.
  • Greek yogurt will bring more creaminess and protein if you want a more substantial breakfast.

Anti-waste tips

Fruits that are a bit too ripe? Perfect! They’ll be even sweeter and more fragrant in your parfait.

Save the kiwi peels: well washed, they’re edible and provide extra fiber.

Leftover yogurt approaching its expiration date? Turn it into a smoothie with your parfait fruits!
